Practices exclusive Thoracic Surgical Oncology at a tertiary cancer hospital in Tamilnadu, India.

Has performed more than 1700 Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) operations for thoracic disorders. Performed the first Robotic Lung Resection for Cancer in Tamilnadu. His work is predominantly in the field of Thoracic Oncology. He specialises in surgery for disorders of the lung, esophagus and mediastinum. He is well known for pioneering work in the management of Tumors of the Trachea and Bronchus, and has a high volume lung preservation surgery practice.
